update on the SCuM solar Tx/RX
requirements, Solar Panel provides 560uA, 2 suns illumination
It 's hard to do optical calibration with the provide current.
@Kristofer PISTER The capacitor in the circuit is the reason there is a 13ms delay to transmit the packets ( starting from when??) delay.
The current non solar (as a reference), we can’t do the TX/RX transition because of the delay from optical calibration.
Does the printf draw down the current to 150uA?
RX/TX procedure
The optical calibration results are recorded
SCuM is able to transmit with 1.86 V, to and receive frame from OpenMote.
@Kristofer PISTER What is the coefficient between the LC oscillator frequency and the voltage from 1.86 to 1.2V.
Low power optical calibration
proposed by @Austin Patel : turn off LO when calibrate HF 2MHz. when calibrate LO, use the low frequency clock (HF clock). Another idea is to reduce the optical ISR interval, to reduce the calibrate process.
Is that possible to not turn on the radio while using the IF? (need to check the schematic of SCuM)
See if we can get a programmer’s view of the different power domains of the SCuM chip (information spread out over 3 or 4 dissertations).
Update the SCuM board with Solar panel and MEMS
We will receive 4 new SCuM boards from Berkeley
